The coop tour is over now but it was a huge success. On behalf of all of the coop owners on tour this year we thank you all again for attending and sharing your experiences with ours. Welcome to the home for Traverse City's own Urban Chicken Coop Tour. We have organized an eclectic tour of (7) local chicken coops here in beautiful downtown Traverse City to share our experiences, knowledge, and interest in urban chickens. The tour is self-guided but there is an optional guided bike tour as well. We'll also have a raffle with multiple winners that you can enter for only $0.25 (25 cents!) at the final SEEDS Coop where we'll end out tour. There will be multiple prizes for coop related items as well as non-coop related items. Enter whatever raffle you'd like or even both!
We welcome all visitors from all areas no matter how you're able to attend.
You can throw your preconceived notions about who raises chickens out the window. On our tour we have a wide range of Urban Chicken Farmers including a Computer Analyst, Kitchen Designer, School Teacher, Hair Stylist, Architect and more! Each owner will be on site during the duration of the tour to answer all your questions and help raise awareness and spread community fellowship. It will be a great tour and you'll enjoy coops of all types.

From 11am till 2pm. Self-guided tour or optional bike routed tour. Feel free to visit any of the coops in any particular order or the order we've suggested on our map. We'll finish the tour at the SEEDS Coop for post tour celebrations as well as SEEDS Anniversary Celebration!
